SGD Fire Protection Ltd has announced the promotion of Hayley Duffy and Aimee Lamb, further demonstrating the company’s ongoing investment in professional development and internal progression.
As the business continues to grow, SGD remains firmly committed to
developing its people, creating structured opportunities for advancement,
supporting formal qualifications, and recognising excellence across every
department.
Hayley Duffy, who joined the business in September last year as an Accounts
Assistant, has been promoted to Accounts Manager. From the outset, Hayley
demonstrated capability beyond her role, introducing improved systems
within the accounts function and driving measurable efficiencies. She is
currently completing her AAT Level 3 qualification, with the full support of the
company as she continues to progress professionally.
Aimee Lamb, who has been with SGD since its early stages, has recently
completed her Office Administration apprenticeship and has progressed into
the role of Project Co-ordinator.
Throughout her apprenticeship, Aimee
consistently delivered work of an exceptional standard, with her attention to
detail formally recognised during a recent health and safety audit.
Commenting on the promotions, Georgia Davidson, Director at SGD Fire
Protection, said:
“We are proud to announce the promotion of two outstanding members of
our office team, whose hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed.
Hayley joined us as an Accounts Assistant in September last year and very
quickly demonstrated capabilities beyond the scope of her role. Through her
initiative, she implemented new systems within our accounts department,
significantly improving processes in a short space of time.
During her three-month probation review, we discussed her promotion and
expressed our gratitude for the impressive turnaround she had achieved.
Hayley has since settled seamlessly into her role as Accounts Manager and
continues to develop every day. She is currently completing her AAT Level 3
qualification, which she began prior to joining SGD, and we are fully
committed to supporting her as she progresses further in her career.
Aimee has been part of SGD from the early days, initially supporting the
business behind the scenes. She has gone from strength to strength across
various roles and has recently completed her Office Administration
apprenticeship. Throughout her apprenticeship, Aimee identified the areas
where she excels and developed a real passion for her work, something that
clearly shows in the high standard she consistently delivers.
During a health
and safety audit, her work on our site files was recognised for its detail and site specific
accuracy. Following this, we discussed her progression into the role of
Project Co-ordinator upon completion of her apprenticeship.
Both Hayley and Aimee have shown exceptional initiative and pride in their
work, and myself, Shaun, and the entire team are incredibly proud to have
them as part of the SGD team.”
These promotions reflect SGD Fire Protection’s long-term strategy: to build a
resilient, highly skilled workforce by nurturing talent from within and providing
clear pathways for professional growth.
