Supporting Bereaved Children and Their Families Across Our Community. Anthony Davies Bereavement CIO is currently supporting 53 families and counting, helping children aged 11 and under who have experienced the death of someone close to them. Around 90% of the children we support have lost a parent, often facing unimaginable challenges at a very young age.
Through specialist bereavement support, we help children and their families understand and navigate grief in a safe, supportive environment. Our work includes:
- Peer-to-peer support groups
- Workshops focused on emotional understanding and regulation
- Age-appropriate education around death, dying and grief
- Breathwork and meditation sessions for children and parents
- Support for parents and carers
- Close partnership working with schools and nurseries to ensure a joined-up approach to care and support
Every pound raised helps us continue providing these vital services and ensures that no child has to face bereavement alone.
Our 2nd Birthday Fundraising Event
Following the success of our inaugural fundraiser, we are delighted to invite local businesses and organisations to become sponsors of our 2nd Birthday Fundraising Event, taking place at One Fine Day, Liverpool, on Thursday 27th August.
The evening will bring together supporters, businesses, community leaders and families for a memorable night of fundraising and celebration.
