Behind every moment of compassionate care at Willowbrook Hospice is a dedicated community working tirelessly to make it possible.

At the heart of this effort is our fundraising team – a passionate group of fundraisers who are committed to ensuring that our patients and their families continue to receive the support they need, when they need it most.

Our hospice provides specialist care that goes far beyond medical treatment. We offer comfort, dignity, and emotional support to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses, as well as guidance and care for their loved ones. But what many people don’t realise is that hospices receive only limited government funding. This means that a significant proportion of our income must be raised through donations, events, and community initiatives.

That’s where our fundraising team comes in.

From organising local events and building partnerships with businesses, to working closely with schools, community groups, and individual supporters, the team is constantly finding new and creative ways to raise vital funds. Every cake sale, charity run, and community donation plays a part in keeping our services running.

One of the most impactful ways people support us is through our Hospice Lottery. It’s a simple and affordable way to make a big difference. By purchasing a weekly ticket, players are entered into regular draws for cash prizes – while directly contributing to the care we provide every day.

The Hospice Lottery is more than just a chance to win – it’s a lifeline. Each play helps fund essential services, from specialist nursing care to bereavement support and wellbeing therapies. It allows us to plan ahead, sustain our services, and continue being there for families during the most challenging times of their lives.

Every pound raised, whether through the lottery, donations, or fundraising events, helps ensure that our hospice remains a place of comfort, care, and compassion. Without this ongoing support, we simply couldn’t continue to deliver the level of care our community deserves.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports our work – whether by playing the lottery, attending events, or making a donation. Together, we are making a real difference.

If you’d like to get involved, support our fundraising efforts, or find out more about the Hospice Lottery, we would love to hear from you. Because with your help, we can continue to care for those who need us most.
