Businesses across Knowsley and the wider Liverpool City Region are being encouraged to take part in the latest Quarterly Economic Survey (QES), which is now open for responses.

The Quarterly Economic Survey is one of the UK’s largest and most respected independent business surveys, providing valuable insight into current trading conditions, business confidence, investment plans and the challenges facing organisations across the region.

The findings play an important role in informing economic policy and decision-making at both a regional and national level, helping to ensure that the experiences and priorities of businesses are represented to key stakeholders, including government departments, HM Treasury and the Bank of England.

Knowsley Chamber of Commerce is encouraging local businesses to contribute to the survey and help build a comprehensive picture of economic conditions across the Liverpool City Region.

The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and should ideally be completed by a business owner, CEO, Managing Director or another senior decision-maker within the organisation. Responses can be submitted anonymously.

Businesses wishing to take part can access the survey online, with the deadline for submissions set for Monday 14 September 2026.
