This Christmas, Caring Connections is proud to bring some festive cheer to those who may otherwise spend the day alone. We are delighted to be hosting two Christmas Day events: one at Sunshine House in Wigan and another at a community venue on Lorenzo Drive in Liverpool.

These special gatherings are aimed at older people within the local community who will be spending Christmas alone. Each guest will be treated to a full Christmas dinner with dessert, festive games, gifts, and even a Christmas movie.

As this is our first year running Christmas Day events, we wanted to do something truly meaningful after seeing how isolating the day can be for many people.

How You Can Help

We are asking for your support in helping us identify anyone in your local community who would like to attend. To ensure we can plan properly for catering, gifts, and seating, guests must book ahead, so venue details will be shared directly upon booking rather than publicly.

Support From Local Businesses

We are also seeking support from local businesses who may be willing to contribute sponsorship. Any help toward the cost of meals, gifts, or other event expenses would make a tremendous difference and help us create a warm, memorable Christmas for those who need it most.
