The Knowsley HR Forum was established to assist and support local businesses, HR professionals and staff with responsibility for HR in their organisation. Regular seminars, training and workshops are held on topical HR issues - these are delivered by some of the UK's leading Employment Lawyers, HR Specialists and other organisations, eg. ACAS.

The Forum offers a learning platform and practical guidance / tools for delegates to take back to their business.  However, we also encourage opportunities for formal and informal networking - enabling best practice to be shared between organisations both large and small.

The National Minimum wage rate that apply are as follows:

• The main rate for workers aged 21 and over will increase to £6.08
• The 18 to 20 rate will increase to £4.98
• The 16 to 17 rate for workers above school l eaving age but under 18 will increase to £3.68 
• The apprentice rate, for apprentices under 19 or 19 or over and in the first year of their apprenticeship will increase to £2.60
